It’s the perfect place to get your career off the ground. All you have to do is nail the landing.
There’s never been a battlespace where weather hasn’t played a decisive role. It impacts everything from mobility, visibility, and navigation to tactics, equipment, and apparel. Weather is among the most crucial elements in determining the timing and feasibility of military operations.
Those who grasp the importance weather plays in military planning hold the key to operational success.
In the United States military, that advantage belongs to the 4,000 men and women, civilian, reserve, and active duty, of the Air Force Weather Enterprise.
They give the Air Force, Army, and Space Force decision-makers around the globe an asymmetric advantage by providing timely, accurate, and actionable meteorological intelligence to give military operations a decisive edge on land, in the air, in space, and in cyberspace.
