AT THE FOREFRONT OF CYBERSECURITY AND ENGINEERING
Operating at the intersection of cyber, engineering, intelligence, and computer science, highly skilled civilian professionals collaborate closely with their active-duty counterparts to secure the Air Force's advanced weapon systems. Their mission: to keep these systems resilient and effective in the face of rapidly evolving cyber threats.
These experts are part of the Cyber Resiliency Office for Weapon Systems (CROWS) under Air Force Materiel Command. CROWS focuses on identifying and eliminating cyber vulnerabilities in both new and legacy Air Force weapon systems. Using specialized training and system development processes, their efforts prevent cyber exploitation and foster a culture of system resiliency.
BUILDING CYBER RESILIENCY
CROWS leverages threat-informed intelligence to pinpoint vulnerabilities. Working with program managers, engineers, and industry partners, they work to ensure cybersecurity is embedded in every new weapon system and during upgrades to legacy systems.
STAYING AHEAD OF THE THREAT
The exploitation of unknown vulnerabilities (“Zero-day”) is among the most dangerous of cyber threats. CROWS develops the necessary mechanisms and protocols to ensure Air Force weapon systems can withstand these attacks, recover, and continue their mission without disruption.
JOIN THE MISSION
CROWS is seeking top-tier civilian talent in areas like cyber, engineering, information protection, logistics, and intel. Join a team committed to safeguarding national security and become part of a mission like no other.
